Design in Kortrijk is a voyage of discovery to 22 interior decoration shops in Kortrijk, each one of which is proud to show you how it lives and works on a daily basis with, for and through design. Design in Kortrijk challenges all interior decoration shops to show the public at large how design is used in their products, from furniture to carpets, from cars to eyeglasses, and much more.
During your visit, you can take a break at one of the meeting points, where you can top up your inner strength, chill out for a while, or plunge headlong into even more design.
Design in Kortrijk integrates 4 design projects spread out over your visit, from both inside and outside Belgium, by famous names and up-and-coming talent alike. For example, items on show include design totems made by newly graduated product designers. In addition, students following the Interior Design course at the Saint-Lucas Institute in Ghent are working in the field of design at the Bouwcentrum Pottelberg site, and Design in Kortrijk is also extremely proud to be able to welcome Italian Design on Tour (I.DoT) from Milan.
