From 15 to 24 October, IDA - Italian Design Agency - I.DoT, Italian Design on Tour will be presenting their special recipe dedicated to Italian Design. The main ingredient will be an exclusive photo session by Maurizio Marcato, interpreting the latest Italian designs. All this will be garnished with the design of Daniela Tava and enriched by stimulating special events. I.DoT will definitely be presenting Kortrijk with a tasty design dish!

After a successful collaboration during their Industrial Design course in Kortrijk, five young guys decided to keep in touch with each other. Karel, Geert, Raf, Roby and Helmut met up regularly and started working out projects under the name of "XITE". XITE became a means of expressing their creative ideas. The design of the eye catchers for Design in Kortrijk is only the fourth project in the very early stages of XITE, but it will definitely not pass unnoticed!

During their 10-day occupation of the buildings on Pottelberg, a group of interior design students will attempt to create a conceptually challenging living environment. The rooms, all decoration removed and stripped back to their bare essence, connected, will be the epicentre of a creative laboratory for interior design.
This event will last 10 days and coincide with the International creative interior design fair Interieur 04. Conceptual designs, determined by the space and restricted in materials, construction, time and space, will be designed on site and exhibited in a scenographic environment.
Project proposed by the students of the Interior Design college attached to the Saint-Lucas Ghent Architecture Department.

The exhibition Vormgeving @ West-Vlaanderen will show the designs that have been awarded the four-yearly design award of the province of West Flanders in 2004. The exhibition will include designs by Paul Boudens, Dirk Wynants, Philippe Allaeys, Inge Van Damme, Alain Monnens, Francine Van der Biest and Diederik Serlet.
